Cookie policy

How and why Boleti.mx uses cookies and similar technologies on this site.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, web beacons) we use on boleti.mx and how you can control them. It applies to the public site; the operator panel app.boleti.mx has an equivalent policy accepted at login.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They remember information between visits (e.g., your language) and measure how the site is used. Some are essential; others are optional and only activate with your consent.

Cookie categories

  • Necessary

    Always on

Session, authentication, anti-fraud, and load balancing. The site cannot function properly without these.

  • Functional

Remember your language, theme, and other visual preferences so you don't have to set them on every visit.

  • Analytics

Visits are measured with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify anyone. This category would only be used if we ever added another measurement tool.

  • Marketing

Allow us to show relevant content on other platforms (Meta Pixel) and measure acquisition campaigns.

Third-party services

These are the services from other companies we use, and when each one comes in:

  • Stripe

When you pay for your plan at app.boleti.mx. This site doesn't load it.

    stripe.com/privacy
  • Vercel Web Analytics

Visit metrics with no cookies and no personal data. Always on; it doesn't install anything on your device.

    vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Meta Pixel

Measures how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram are working. Loaded only if you turn on the Marketing category.

Retention period

Necessary cookies are deleted when you close your session or browser. Functional, analytics, and marketing cookies have a 13-month maximum. Your consent record is kept for 12 months, after which we'll ask again.
