Frequent rider program that brings passengers back to your buses

Every trip earns your passenger points, moves them up a level and can be traded for tickets or rewards. You know who rides with you often and give them a reason to come back.

The problem

Your best passengers ride with you, but you don't know who they are

Some people ride with you every week, every payday or every holiday, and at the box office they look just like someone who travels once. Without a frequent rider program, the person who comes back gets nothing for coming back, and the day another line offers them a few pesos less, they're gone.

  • You don't know who rides often

You sell tickets every day, but you have no way to tell who your regulars are or how many times they've traveled with you.

  • You compete on price alone

If all you offer is the ticket, the passenger goes with whoever charges less. There's nothing that makes them choose you.

  • Discounts by hand, with no control

Each cashier gives discounts however they can, on paper or from memory. You don't know how many were given, to whom or what they cost you.

What you can do

What the frequent rider program does

  • Points for every trip, plus levels

Every trip adds points to your passenger's card, and those who ride more move up a level. Passenger loyalty shows up in numbers, not just in familiar faces.

  • Pay for a ticket with points

Your passenger uses the points they've earned to pay for their next trip. They see that coming back pays off, and you reward the regulars without lowering prices for everyone.

  • Promotions and free tickets

Give away free tickets and set up promotions right in the system. From the Flotilla plan up, you can also offer a discount on the return leg of a round trip for the whole route or only for the segments you choose.

  • Trip history for every passenger

Open any frequent rider's profile and see the trips they've taken with you. You know who your regulars are and how often they come back.

  • Senior discounts in the same sale

Your usual discounts, like the INAPAM senior discount, and reservations with a deposit are handled in the same sale, and so are round trips from the Flotilla plan up. Nobody has to do the math separately.

How it works

How frequent riders work in Boleti

  1. Step 1

    Set up your program

Shape the program to fit your line: the points each trip earns, the levels and the rewards you want to offer, like free tickets or discounts.

  2. Step 2

    Sign up your passenger

At the box office you sign up the passenger with their name and phone number, and from then on they have a frequent rider card with your line.

  3. Step 3

    Every trip earns points

Each time they ride with you, their points and trips are added to their card. Once they reach what the next level asks for, they move up on their own.

  4. Step 4

    Trade points for trips

With their points they pay for a ticket or get a reward. You see it on their card, along with their points and their trips.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about frequent riders

Which plan includes the frequent rider program?

It comes with every plan, starting with Ruta, along with paying with points. The only thing that changes between plans is how many registered passengers you can have: up to 500 on Ruta, up to 2,000 on Línea, up to 15,000 on Flotilla and no limit on Central. So you pick the plan by how many passengers you want to reward, and the program works the same on all of them.

Can my passengers pay for a ticket with points?

Yes. Paying with loyalty points comes with every plan. Your passenger earns points on every trip and uses them to pay for a ticket or trades them for a reward. For them, it's a concrete reason to buy from you again instead of from another line.

Can I give away free tickets and set up promotions?

Yes. Right in the system you give away free tickets and set up promotions for your passengers. From the Flotilla plan up you can also offer a discount on the return leg of a round trip that applies to the whole route or only to the segments you choose. The promotion is saved with its dates, so it no longer depends on each cashier remembering to apply it.

Can the discounted return fare on a round trip be rounded?

Yes, if you turn it on. Round trips come with the Flotilla plan and up, and a percentage discount on the return leg sometimes leaves prices with cents. In your sales settings you can have that fare rounded to the nearest ten pesos, so it's easier to charge and count. It never charges more than the regular price, and on your sales website the passenger only sees the final price.

Can I still give the INAPAM senior discount?

Yes. Boleti handles your usual discounts, like the INAPAM senior discount, and reservations with a deposit in the same sale; from the Flotilla plan up, round trips too. The frequent rider program adds to that: points for every trip, levels and rewards for those who come back. Nobody has to do the math separately on paper.
